Celebration features information about community resources for veterans, a student art display, food, beverages, and more

Yavapai College will salute veterans with a pair of special events this month.  On Tuesday, November 14 the first celebration will take place on the Verde Campus, 601 Black Hills Drive, Clarkdale, from 2:30 to 5 p.m. in Building M, room 203.

The College says the celebration will feature information about community resources for veterans, a student art display, food, beverages, live music and a chance to read and reflect on the names of Arizona servicemen and women who have lost their lives serving their country in Iraq and Afghanistan. 

The celebration  is free and everyone is welcome.

A similar celebration will be held on the Prescott Campus the following day, Wednesday  from 4 to 7 p.m. in Building 19, Room 147, 1100 E. Sheldon St.
